Zoo Boo is one of the leading and longest trick-or-treat events in Anchorage. This event features decorated trails with candy stations spread throughout zoo grounds, run by local business partners and zoo volunteers. The zoo animals participate too with spooky-themed enrichment made by zookeepers. Zoo staff and volunteers dress up in costumes to match the visitor spirit, so be sure to come in full costume! The Discovery Center will feature skull and bone biofacts, along with a chance to see the zoo's reptile residents. The south lawn by the Coffee Shop will hold carnival games suitable for young children. All of the zoo trails and crossing points will have family-friendly spooky decorations, plus the addition of an extra scary trail for older kids and adults. The Kape Espresso Tayo Zoo Coffee Shop will be open with extra seating in the greenhouse. The Zoo Gift Shop will be open as well. Enjoy food purchasing at the Cuban Craving and Yeti Dogs food trucks, too! This event is a safe and fun addition to your trick-or-treating adventures.

Tickets: Zoo Boo entry must be purchased through online tickets. When you purchase, you choose the time frame during which you plan to enter the event. You are free to stay as long as you wish until closing. We do entry time selection to keep the parking lots from overfilling, allowing traffic to be spread throughout the day. The event has a limited capacity, so don't delay buying your online tickets. Zoo Boo sells out every year!

Ages 3 and up (non-member): $25.00/person. Zoo members receive a $10 discount in checkout if logged into their membership account with a current membership. To log in, go to "My Account" in the upper right corner and log in with the email associated with your membership. Ages 2 and under are free.
