Zoo Lights is our annual community light festival spread across the 30 acres of maintained zoo trails. Visitors from across Alaska and around the world visit Zoo Lights, and local families make it a holiday tradition to visit with loved ones and guests.

Open Zoo Lights Dates and Times:

• Opening Night: November 28 (Black Friday), 2025, 5-8pm
• November 28-20, December 5-7, December 12-14, 5-8pm
• Nightly December 19, 2025 - January 4, 2026, 5-8pm
• No Zoo Lights on December 25th (zoo closed Christmas Day)
• February 13-15 (Valentines Weekend), 5-8pm
• March 6-15 (ASD Spring Break plus weekends), 7-9:30pm

Tickets:

• $25/person ages 3+
• ZOO MEMBER DISCOUNT: Members ages 3+ receive a $10 discount per ticket which will be applied using the following steps:
  
  • Log into your zoo membership account.
  • Ensure that your membership is listed as ACTIVE.
  • Go back to the Zoo Lights checkout.
  • Select regular price tickets listed, select date, select time.
  • Add this to your cart and your discounted ticket price will show up in checkout in your cart. It does not show up in the first steps, only after you have added ticket to your shopping cart.
• Ages 2 and under are free
• Please note that, although you select a date in checkout, zoo admissions will honor your Zoo Lights tickets for one use during any open period during the 2025/2026 season.
• Tickets are available online and at the gate during open Zoo Lights hours. CyberMonday tickets may only be purchased online during the one-day sale on December 1st.

CyberMonday Sale:

Each year, we offer a one-day discount on Zoo Lights tickets on CyberMonday. The price for 2025 CyberMonday Zoo Lights tickets will be $13/ticket, regardless of zoo membership status. This sale price will be available online only from 12am-11:59pm AK time on Monday, December 1, 2025. Many people purchase blocks of these tickets for the discounted price, then give them out as holiday gifts and stocking stuffers for friends, family and co-workers.

Each ticket is valid for one use during any open Zoo Lights day/time of choice. The ticket price will be discounted at a link that can be accessed starting at 12am on December 1st on our main Zoo Lights page at https://www.alaskazoo.org/zoo-lights
