Come on a Sniffari with your dog on the Alaska Zoo's trails during this limited-time event on Thursday evening, September 10th, 2026 from 5:30-8:00pm. Purchase dog admissions entry, $20 per dog, at the zoo gate during the event or online (small service fee applies online). Add your zoo entry (general admission rates) or use your zoo membership. This event will feature dog-focused community groups with booths, the zoo photo booth themed to dogs and food for sale at food trucks "Pikiniki" and "Holly Dogs".

• Admission at the gate cannot be guaranteed if event capacity has been reached.

Your purchase of a dog ticket is your agreement to abide by the following rules: 

• One dog per adult. Children ages 12+ may attend but may not be responsible for handling a dog.
• This is a 12+ event (all human attendees must be at least 12 years old).
• All dogs must be well-behaved, up to date on vaccinations, and on a non-retractable leash no longer than 6 feet. No flexi leads. Dogs must also wear a collar with a visible ID tag.
• Dogs must remain on designated dog-friendly paths (restricted areas will be identified).
• Dogs must be at least 4 months old.
• Female dogs in heat are not permitted.
