Program Details
This adoption is for one Alaska Zoo bird species. Please state which bird species you would like in the "Additional Information" box when checking out. Options are Bald Eagle, Golden Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, Sharp-shinned Hawk, Raven, Trumpeter Swan, Great Grey Owl, Great Horned Owl or Short-Eared Owl.
By symbolically adopting an Alaska Zoo animal, you support our mission to conserve Arctic, sub-arctic and like climate species through education, research and community enrichment. Adopt for yourself, or as the perfect gift for an animal lover. Each adoption comes with a certificate, fact sheet and photo. Adoptions are perfect gifts for all ages and occasions.
Choose your adoption level:
- $50 - E-keeper (digital by email): Certificate, fact sheet, photo.
- $100 - Keeper: E-keeper benefits, plus your choice of one plush animal: Snow Leopard, Polar Bear, Seal, Otter, Tiger.
- $250 - Senior Keeper: Keeper benefits, plus a decal sticker and 2 Zoo Lights tickets.
- $500 - Curator: Senior Keeper benefits, plus 2 more Zoo Lights tickets (4 total) and a Private Tour for 2.
- $1,000 - Director: Curator benefits, plus 2 more Zoo Lights tickets (6 total) and a Private Tour for 6.
- $2,500 - Silver Board of Directors Habitat Sponsor*: Director level adoption benefits, along with signage at the adopted species habitat including logo recognition for one year (excluding the Gold Board of Directors Habitats) and a Private Encounter for a group of up to fifteen (15) people.
- $5,000 - Gold Board of Directors Habitat Sponsor*: Choose from Polar Bear, Amur Tiger, Snow Leopard, Brown Bear, Wolves or a zoo species of your choice. Director level adoption benefits, plus a Private Encounter for a total of thirty (30) people and name recognition during all distance learning education programs.
*Only one sponsorship per habitat/year is available.
