Program Details

Destination: Downtown Anchorage

Reserve your seats on the free shuttle from the Alaska Zoo to Downtown Anchorage. Trips to the Alaska Zoo from Downtown are reserved separately.

Our shuttle is FREE, operating between Downtown Anchorage and the Alaska Zoo. The shuttle is in operation Thursdays though Sundays from May 22nd through August 31st, 2025 only. Our shuttle requires online reservations in advance for trips to the zoo and back to Downtown (each direction is booked separately). The meeting location downtown is in front of the Visitors Cabin at 4th and F St.

Ride to Downtown: Leave the Alaska Zoo and return to 4th and F St Downtown. See the following times:

9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm

*Note* If you take the 4:30pm shuttle to the zoo, there will not be a free shuttle ride back to Downtown. If you reserve a ride from Downtown TO the zoo at 4:30pm, you will have to find alternate paid transportation to your destination (Uber, Lyft, taxi, etc).
